5 steps to write an engaging and inspiring content

Everyone runs behind blog posts, getting traffic for their websites and ranking in the google search engine, right?

Why do they do that? Have you ever thought?

If you ask yourself the same question, what would be your answer?

Obviously, All of us need to earn more and live a better life. Is it not?

To achieve the same, you need to write engaging and inspiring content.

Have you ever searched for how to write better content?

Even I searched for the same before I came up with these five steps to write engaging and inspiring content.

I came across many blog posts, books, and many articles. Finally, based on my learning experience, I came with five significant steps that worked well for me.

When I searched for how to write good content, I found that we need to write content that educates, engages, and brings hope to the readers.

Yes, I could understand what you think exactly. Everyone insists the same, but the thing is, how can we write like that? Don’t panic.

I will walk you through the 5 steps for writing engaging and inspiring content for beginners in this article.

Put yourself in the place of a reader

Yes! You heard it right. Always try to put yourself in the place of a reader. If you want to read an article, imagine how you would expect it to be.

You might spend your time intending to learn something or you might take a short break from your routine and seek a sort of relaxation by reading.

Instead, if you feel dull and less motivated, you might be reading something to seek motivation. Is it not?

In the same way, readers must be searching for some solution to their problems. If you provide some solution to them like do this first step, then follow the second and third and finally repeat the above two steps.

Do you think they would find it interesting and read it further?

Absolutely No!

Share a story

Sharing your personal experience would be a great idea for writing engaging and inspiring content.

Let me share with you my experience in making your writing more interesting.

During this pandemic situation, teaching has been the greatest challenge for the teachers and professors.

Even I faced the same problem as I was teaching the Engineering college students.

Students felt very bored and find it very monotonous.

I was feeling horrible.

We strain ourselves, put all our efforts into preparing slides, yet everything went into vain.

After an extensive evaluation, I came up with the idea of animating the technical concepts.

I tried recreating visually like how the machine works, how the electrons move, and many other.

To my surprise, it worked well. If I can do that, why not you?

You might come out with a better idea as well.

Inculcate Hope

A person can do incredible things if he or she has enough hope” – Shannon Butcher

Since I have been sharing my personal experience, it inculcated some ray of hope in you, right?

You might still remember the moral stories we learned in our childhood!

Say, for example, the narrative of the Hare and Tortoise, Lion and the rabbit are still cherished today.

Those stories inspired and motivated us and gave us hope to succeed in life.

Similarly, if you share a story and real-life experiences, it would bring hope to the readers.

Provide an original piece of information

Now that you understood, your content should be more engaging and gives hope to the readers. You can achieve it by sharing a story or real-life experience.

But the crucial element for writing good content is to provide genuine content.

Hey! Don’t imagine that you should create something new.

You can always refer to some well-written articles, blog posts, books, and videos.

But make sure you don’t copy them. You understand the basic idea and go about incorporating it into your perspective.

Try to come up with answers for the questions like,

What do you feel after reading?

How well it gave you the solution to your problem?

What sort of motivation did you get after reading that particular content? In a nutshell, I could say be original and reliable.

Maintain a conversational tone

Finally, I always find this last step more simple, easy, and apparent.

If you write in a conversational tone, then readers would feel connected.

Yes, it would make them feel that you’re sitting beside them and talking on a personal level.

On the other hand, if you write more formally, readers would feel monotonous. You start writing small sentences in fragments, focus straight to the point.

In short, I would suggest you begin a two-way communication using your writing style so that you may establish a real connection with your readers.

Hope these five steps would work wonders! Try these tips, write great content and share your experience with me.
